Kettlewell is situated at the Northern end of Upper Wharfedale, within easy reach of picturesque Langstrothdale, on The Dales Way and well-placed for sketching/painting opportunities along the banks of the River Wharfe and nearby Coverdale.

The village, which is typical of this part of The Dales, holds a scarecrow festival every August.

This is a brand new venue for 2008.
