Watermillock, 5½ miles from Penrith and 2½ from Pooley Bridge, is situated on the west side of Lake Ullswater, the second largest lake and acclaimed by many to be the most beautiful. The Village Hall is situated 200 yards off the A592 Penrith - Glenridding Road, surrounded on all sides by stunning fell scenery and only a short drive away from lakeside subjects.

Although the Village Hall is level and fully equipped with disabled access, the best subjects likely to be sought out on this workshop may include some walking over terrain not best suited to those with walking difficulties. Trips out to nearby crags and notable viewpoints, requiring the use cars, are also an option, weather permitting.
