Artists of all abilities and experience are invited to apply for the following
2-day courses run by Professional Artist Peter Woolley. Covering all aspects of watercolour landscape painting, each course will feature outdoor sketching sessions, designed to improve live sketching technique, and include demonstrations and practice sessions in a relaxed workshop environment. ACTIVITIES After a brief introduction and preparation, all participants will take part in an Outdoor Sketching Session, where pencil-sketches will be produced for later use. Depending on the weather, lunch will usually be followed by an interactive step-by-step Demonstration of watercolour technique. All courses will then feature open discussions, demonstrations, further outdoor sketching & painting sessions (subject to weather conditions) and 'hands on' workshops highlighting various watercolour techniques and subjects tailored to suit the group. Peter Woolley will be on hand throughout the duration of the course to give professional, on-to-one advice and tuition. |
