Woke up with a start at 9:40 - much better night's sleep - in fact probably too good! Breakfast is until 10am in the Lido Bar, so I had to move quickly (I'd missed breakfast in the Dining Room that ends at 9:30).

Everybody's spirits seem lifted this morning, with the arrival of the sunshine - the first indications that we might actually be heading towards somewhere warm. After breakfast I got roped into a game of hoops on deck, which I won, but was not allowed to claim the gift voucher prize because of being a lecturer (just making up the numbers folks) - not to worry - it was still immense fun!

Have just wandered about open deck taking photos and video, and am now going to prepare this afternoon's workshop - Tone and Composition.

A bit frustrated that I still can't post a photo - hoping to be able to do that once we get nearer land where I should be able to pick up a mobile phone signal and upload stuff from my laptop.

Today is the first FORMAL DAY, so this evening I will be wearing my James Bond dinner suit and dickie bow for the first time - m'name's Woolley - Peter Woolley - oh yessssssss!
