n Part 5, Drawing The Familiar, Peter Woolley explores how to draw clothes and other soft materials (there are 7 Drapery Folds), before turning his attention to a couple of everyday familiar objects (Spoon and Coffee Grinder).
He concludes by introducing the concept of Drawing with the Eraser, using a simple landscape and a portrait as working examples.
In Part 6, Drawing Boats, Peter turns his attention to the tricky subject of boats.
After an introduction to Boat Basics, he demonstrates how to produce a boat from a figure-eight. This is followed by a demonstration of boat reflections and a group of vessels in Lynmouth Harbour.
Finally he tackles two old fishing boats with interesting textures.

18/06/18: Beginners Course Announced - October 2018
Peter Woolley will be running a 10-week, Stage 1 Watercolour for Beginners Course, starting in October.
Classes will be run at St. Joseph's Parish Hall in Richmond, North Yorkshire, on Wednesday evenings (7pm - 9pm), starting on the 10th of October 2018

For only £9 per month you can enjoy all the streaming video demonstrations available on the Student Service site.
This new option provides you with limited access to service features. Members are entitled to view all of the video demonstrations on the site, along with accompanying notes (when available). Projects and One-to-one Tuition are not available on this plan. Subscriptions are on a monthly payment agreement that may be upgraded to Student status, or cancelled at any time.
31/10/16: Demonstration Paintings added to Gallery
An exciting new gallery has been added to the site, featuring original work produced in demonstrations for art groups and during the many workshops that Peter runs.
As such, some are more 'finished' than others, have other sketches and demonstrations on their reverse or carry marks from having being used in a workshop environment; all are taking up valuable space in the studio, hence the bargain-basement prices.
