Friday Morning – Wi-fi Woes

Having enjoyed smooth seas throughout the whole day, yesterday, we both experienced a minor tinge of anxiety yesterday evening when the engineer chappie came into the cabin to batten down the hatches. Despite our protestations, he assured us that we weren’t heading for rough weather and that closing the hatch covers was merely a precaution… yeah right.

In his defence, the sea didn’t get that rough, but it did get choppy enough to have Tracey heading to bed early and the sick-bag fairy doing her rounds of the corridors and stairwells.

With Tracey cursing the hatch-man (cos it was, naturally, his fault), I headed off to the lounge to check emails, only to discover that I had no internet connection… Nooooo!

The good news is; the wobbly seas didn’t last long, and this morning, after breakfast, I tracked down the IT man and sorted out my connection woes.

There’s an upbeat buzz in the air as we approach our first port of call. We’ll only have half a day in Copenhagen, so I’m pleased that we now won’t have to spend most of that hunting down free wi-fi.
