Tuesday – At Sea

I’ve given up setting my alarm for 8am. I’ve decided I don’t need it, as the couple next door stick their tele on, which appears to be right next to my earhole, at exactly 7:30am every morning. It could be worse; they could be having an amorous encounter at 7:30am every morning (come to think of it… maybe they do, and the tele is there to hide the moans…).

I painted another iceberg this morning, and had folks painting summer trees in this afternoon’s classes. In other words; it’s been a relatively unremarkable, but productive, day at sea. As the day has worn on, the sea has changed from being totally smooth, as it has been since leaving Iceland, to having a bit of a swell this evening.

It’s Formal Night tonight, so that means an early night for me and a John Smiths takeout in the cabin (except, I have to keep explaining to the barman exactly what it is that I mean by ‘takeout’).
