Returning to the Minerva

On Tuesday the 27th of October, I will be joining Swan Hellenic’s MV Minerva, in Athens, for a two-week tour of the Mediterranean.

Billed as ‘Landscapes of The Mediterranean’, the itinerary includes Piraeus (Athens); Santorini, Greece; Souda Bay, Greece; Valetta, Malta; Palermo, Sicily; Lipari, Italy; Stromboli Volcano; Catania, Sicily; Sarande, Albania and a passage through the ancient, and intriguing, Corinth Canal.

I will be running watercolour workshops as always (why else would I be there?), and am looking forward to boarding the Minerva again; by far the most luxurious little cruise liner I’ve had the pleasure of working on.

This will be my fifth cruise assignment this year (with one more to do over Christmas); something of a record for me, since I’m only used to doing a couple a year. It’s a good, and varied, itinerary, though, and am looking forward to some Mediterranean sun (and it’s been a while since I was last in Sicily, which I love).

I just have to get all my stuff together now…
