Sea Day – First Class

Today we had our first full day at sea, which meant work for me, and the first of my watercolour classes.

It was all a little bit of a shambles on account of there not being enough art kits to go round. This is unfortunate, to say the least, and entirely out of my hands; needless to say, I’ve said my piece and am keepping my fingers crossed that a new stock of replacements turn up at the start of the next cruise (which backs onto this on and starts on the 11th of April). In the meantime, we’ve compromised by splitting up what kits we do have… that’s 7 kits to go around 27 people… talk about the loaves and the fishes…

Once we’d got into it, the class went well, with happy punters at the end of it, despite the chaos at the beginning.
