Southampton to Bristol… then home…

This is just a short post to say that we arrived in Southampton safely, and without incident, at around 5am this morning.

A fleet of coaches had been drafted-in to transfer 800 passengers from Southampton to Bristol; an operation that was as smooth as it could possibly be under the circumstances. We were off the ship and on the coach by 8:30 am, and in Bristol Avonmouth Cruise Terminal by 11:30 am. By 11:45 am, we were in our little camper van heading home, stopping off for lunch at Gloucester Farm-Shop Services (which we love), and arriving home at around 4:30 pm.

…. and that’s it until March, when we’ll be flying out to join the Voyager (Voyages of Discovery) for a back-to-back trip around Cuba and Mexico…

Just want to sleep now…
