It was tiring, and intensive, and transitions from one class to another were hectic to say the least. It was &#8216;The Building Blocks of Watercolour&#8217;, where I introduce\u00a0folks to the basic washes that make up all watercolour paintings and get them to create a simple landscape from a wet-in-wet wash and several &#8216;Transparent Wash&#8217; layers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"itemContent\">\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\">With the first class staring at 1pm, it means I don&#8217;t get lunch, so I set the alarm to get up early and make sure I ate breakfast. It makes for a long afternoon, but it&#8217;s what I&#8217;m here for, and despite\u00a0<\/span>missing my accounts and admin department (Tracey), I think everyone was accounted for.\u00a0By the time the last class had finished and everything was cleaned and put away, it was almost 6pm&#8230; almost dinner time.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\">Other than the occasional lurch, the sea has behaved itself today, meaning we&#8217;re currently on course to arrive in Lisbon on Friday, and then Madeira on Sunday. After that, things should start\u00a0<\/span>warming up, and I&#8217;ll have my partner in crime back on board with me.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\">I&#8217;ve just remembered &#8211; the clocks go back on hour tonight, putting us back in line with the UK.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\">I think I need an early night&#8230;..<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today, I ran 3 classes back to back.
