Today, I held the last of my on-board watercolour classes. C and D groups attempted the iguana – and, I have to say; a rather marvellous job they made of it, too. Folks brought paintings along for the exhibition tomorrow, and the pile grew…. everything is in place for our Grand Exhibition tomorrow.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

At 5:30pm, I held my WI Jumble Sale. Over the course of the weeks, I’ve accumulated a large number of exercise pieces, so I’ve been telling everyone that 5:30 would be their only chance to acquire said peices, at only \u00a35 each. I hasten to add that I’d taken out 4 of the best pieces and finished them off properly, as my contribution to the exhibition.<\/span><\/p>\n

As predicted, my ‘Jumble Sale’ was over very quickly. People were queuing from about 5pm to bag themselves the exercise piece of their choice. After last year’s bun-fight, where a few people took armloads of paintings, leaving a few disgruntled people without any paintings at all, I decided that they should be resitricted to a maximum of two paintings per person.<\/span><\/p>\n

I got talked into attending the late-night cabaret in Scotts Bar, which was songs from The Sixties. I’m glad I did, too, as it was a great night. Interestingly enough, the bar was the busiest I’ve seen it the whole cruise, and I got the feeling that many people had suddenly realised that this would be their second-to-last night on board – better late than never to let your hair down…. the dance floor was so chock-a-block, that any chance of joining the throng was pretty slim (lucky for me I wasn’t in a boogying mood then, wasn’t it?)<\/span><\/p>\n
