{"id":1824,"date":"2018-10-01T23:03:17","date_gmt":"2018-10-01T22:03:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.peterwoolley.co.uk\/blog\/?p=1824"},"modified":"2018-10-02T15:04:15","modified_gmt":"2018-10-02T14:04:15","slug":"a-bit-choppy-at-sea","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.peterwoolley.co.uk\/blog\/a-bit-choppy-at-sea\/","title":{"rendered":"A Bit Choppy At Sea"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today, we were at sea, as we head toward our penultimate port-of-call, Gibraltar.<\/p>\n<p>The sea has been a little on the choppy side today; not excessively so, and we&#8217;ve definitely experienced much rougher, but it&#8217;s been enough to upset a few folks, and numbers were a bit down for my class (a gentle boat scene) as a result.<\/p>\n<p>The day also started with us having to call out the plumber. Ship loos flush with the push of a button; one press, and it&#8217;s like firing up a high-powered vaccuum cleaner, sucking all the contents of the toilet in one violent woosh. It&#8217;s always a little worrying, then, when you press the button and nothing happens.<\/p>\n<p>The plumber came to check it out and declared that there was a blockage further up the system. Phew&#8230; not our fault, then&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>The rough seas kept up throughout the afternoon, so most of it was spent downstairs in the cabin, sleeping, reading or watching movies on my laptop.
