Everyone is monitoring the sea conditions very closely, with us due to be arriving at the Falklands tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The good is news is that the sea doesn’t seem to have been quite so choppy today. There’s still quite a wind blowing, and the front of the ship has been closed off as a precaution, meaniing the birders have been confined to the back deck. Apparently there were two significant sightings of whales this morning. I couldn’t have seen them, though, because I was busy taking a lesson; today I had them painting penguins, in preparation for our Falklands visit tomorrow, which seemed to go down extremely well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
