I’ve been a little croaky since joining the ship. I’m not sure exactly why that is, but I’m not in any discomfort or pain with it, and I don’t feel I’m coming down with anything. Hopefully it’ll settle down in a couple of days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The good news is; as we head into the Bay of Biscay, we seem to be past the worst of the weather. The seas are still a little bumpy, but we’ve actually seen sunshine today, and there’s a sense of smoother seas definitely being on their way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Class numbers were a little on the low side this morning. That may be due to the weather, but we were also competing against the Sunday morning church service. Fortunately, numbers in the afternoon came back with full force, and we ended up having to turn a few people away (which I always hate doing, but 30 is our absolute maximum).\u00a0It was a tonal study, which most people seemed to enjoy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once we’d packed away everything after the second class, we relaxed with a cup of tea in the lounge next to the library, made particularly attractive by the biscuits that were also available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We don’t seem quite so tired today, and enjoyed a walk around the open deck before dinner (what we like to call a ‘promenade around the Promenade<\/em>‘).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also enjoyed a relaxing drink accompanied by live music after dinner, before retiring for the evening. We’re still getting into the swing of things, and it’s class number 3 tomorrow, so an early night is in order (hopefully with no air evacs to break it up).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
