This is a view looking towards the Cuillin Mountains from the Fairy Pools on the Isle of Skye.

As far as mountain subjects go, the Cuillin Ridge is very distinctive, and always a pleasure to paint. I also always enjoy the challenge of creating patches of snow on the higher slopes of the hills through a negative painting technique - no white paint or masking fluid was used.

The original watercolour has been painted on heavyweight (200lbs) Saunders Waterford watercolour paper (Rough), with light-resistent, high quality watercolour paint. The price quoted is for the painting to be supplied to you unframed, in protective packaging with rigid backing panel, ready to take to a framer. A quote for framed work will be provided on request.

SIGNED LIMITED EDITION PRINT
The Limited Edition Print is a giclee reproduction, using only inks of the highest quality, and printed on 310gsm acid-free German Etching paper. ART CARD
The Art Card is printed on 190gsm High-quality Smooth-finish card, size A5. It is blank inside (no message) and comes complete with its own envelope.
