DOLPHIN CITY
This morning, when we went up for breakfast, the sea was teaming with life. Dolphins everywhere; big ones, little ones, grey ones, white ones; some leaping out of the sea, others simply rolling along going about their dolphin-ey business.
We’re approaching the equator again, and as we are off the coast of Northern Peru, almost Ecuador, it means we’re just a stones throw from the Calapogos Islands, which might account for the incease in activity.
We stood on the back deck for a while, enjoying the spectacle, until we decided it was time to go back downstairs and gear-up with cameras and binoculars. Once up on the front deck, of course, it went mysteriously quiet… like they knew…
