NOT QUITE SO ROCKY
Everyone is monitoring the sea conditions very closely, with us due to be arriving at the Falklands tomorrow.
The good is news is that the sea doesn’t seem to have been quite so choppy today. There’s still quite a wind blowing, and the front of the ship has been closed off as a precaution, meaniing the birders have been confined to the back deck. Apparently there were two significant sightings of whales this morning. I couldn’t have seen them, though, because I was busy taking a lesson; today I had them painting penguins, in preparation for our Falklands visit tomorrow, which seemed to go down extremely well.
It’s been a long, slow afternoon, struggling with a particularly sluggish wi-fi service and lounging around reading.
