This is just a quickie post to thank everyone for their comments and concern.   I’m now home safe and sound after an uneventful drive back to North Yorkshire. I will post an account of the last couple of days, which have been anything but uneventful, as soon as I’ve settled back into things, and I’ve caught up with everything...

We’re nearly home. The ship’s chart shows us at the top end of the Bay of Biscay, and the sea is getting rougher; things have been crashing about throughout the night, and I could feel myself sliding down the bed a few times. It’s possible that, having only just been reopened, Marco’s Bistro may have to be closed again –...

My classes re-started yesterday; it was good to be back, and working again, and I think everyone was of the same mind. I had them painting stone walls and sheep – and today, we’ll be painting an iguana!   The ship is a-rockin’ and a-rollin’, and the seas are getting steadily rougher as we approach the Bay of Biscay again....

Classes will resume today! Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey!   All issues have been bashed out, and all the Art and Craft classes will start again, as normal. Not only that… the green light has been given to an exhibition on Saturday, so it’s business as usual.   We are expecting rough seas, though (possibly Friday is the rumour….)…. so here we go again….....
