Passengers On Their Best Behaviour

Today, we were back at sea, and this morning, I ran my second classes.

Fortunately, the sea has been much calmer, with mostly flat seas and only the occasional ‘speed bump’. More importantly, however, today’s classes went off without a hitch. We turned up a little later to set up the space, to avoid any slack time when aggro might manifest itself (our timing was perfect, in fact, as the housekeeping team turned up at exactly the same time, to arrange the tables and set up the cordon for us).

The good news is that, not only did both classes pass without incident, but all the passengers who took part were on their best behaviour. Certainly, as we approach warmer climes, I would expect classes to ease off even more, as many folks will prefer to be sunning themselves on the upper decks.

It’s been a leisurely afternoon of doing not very much at all. This will be my last afternoon off; from now on, Peter The Wood will be doing his thing in the mornings, and my classes will be in the afternoons (1:30pm and 3:30pm)… he got first dibs, and prefers mornings…
