I would have had another class today. Unfortunately, activities in the Craft Studio remain suspended. I’m hopeful, however, that the suspension isn’t going to last too long, and that we’ll be back up and running in no time at all.

Given my temporary redundancy, I’ve spent much of the day working on online student stuff. Unfortunately, the internet has had a relapse and gone back to being non-existent again, so I wasn’t able to upload anything.

With all current restrictions still in place, the Bistro was closed for dinner again tonight. Having eaten for the last two days in the restarant (and, on a positive note, Tracey and I were put on a table for two last night, which was nice), we decided that today we would do something a little different. 8:15pm is still a little late for us to be eating (and dinner in the restaurant always takes over an hour), so today, we opted for burgers from the outdoor grill located on the Pool Deck.

After finishing our burgers – which were lovely, by the way – we then walked a few leisurely laps around the top deck. This was a very pleasnt way to end the day, I must say. We weren’t the only people up there; many had come out to watch the sunset, and the air was a lot cooler, compared to the heat and humidity experienced throughout the rest of the day.

Tomorrow, we are due to arrive at our next port-of-call our first landfall since Colon, the other side of the Panama Canal, in fact. To say that we’re looking forward to it is a bit of an understatement.
