BREAK DANCING AND BUNGIE-JUMPING

The Break Dancing in the daily program actually, successfully, caught us out, and it was only when the Captain thanked everyone who had taken part in the bungee jumping, that the penny finally dropped. Today, being April the 1st, we should also have twigged that ‘Water Skiing with Rolando’ might possibly not be quite what it seemed.

I gave my final full, project-driven class today, thanked everyone for turning up and encouraged folks to bring along their work in preparation for tomorrow’s Grand Exhibition. There will be a single session in the morning, which will be billed as a ‘finish things off’ day; I’ve dubbed it a ‘Drop-in Centre’, where I will be happy to indulge in a Q and A for anything watercolour related, and take requests for small demonstrations of techniques and subjects.

After the last class we headed on down to the Living Room were I ordered a well-earned pint of Old Speckled Hen and chatted to a couple of passengers who had attended the classes before heading upstairs to get our glad-rags on ready for the final Formal Evening.
