Fireworks – your contributions

Last month, I talked about fireworks, and posed some suggested solutions as to how they might be painted in watercolour. I also extended an invitation for readers to send in their own versions of the subject.

I’m pleased to say that the following work was sent to me, and I couldn’t wait to share it with you; three very different interpretations of fireworks, each with their own unique style and produced in slightly different ways… and all, quite fantastic, I hope you’ll agree! I would just like to say a huge thanks to Kirstie Taylor, Carol Hughes and Dave Hall for having a go at this, and for all the links to relevant websites associated with the subject that people have also sent me.

I promise to have a go at this myself just as soon as I am back on dry land and have acclimatised myself to life back at home (and will video the results, so watch this space…). In the meantime, please enjoy the fireworks…
