Confined to Barracks

Both Tracey and I got ill last night. I’ll spare the gorey details, but suffice to say that we had to be visited by a nurse from the Medical Centre, to administer a few meds and take a history of our culinary activities over the previous few days. According to the nurse, we are an isolated case, so it’s origin remains a bit of a mystery. Last night was formal night, and after eating in The Grill, we went into The Club to listen to Jerry the guitar vocalist. Some time after that, back in the cabin, my body decided it didn’t like what I’d been feeding it a would use any exit available to dispatch it.

The upshot of this is that we missed Korcula, our first port in Croatia, today, and because we are confined to barracks for 48 hours, we will also miss Split tomorrow. All being well, we should be let out on Monday, when we are in Dubrovnik.

At least the view from the balcony isn’t so bad…
