Joining The Minerva

On Monday, I will be flying to Athens, to join the Swan Hellenic’s cruise ship Minerva, for a two-week trip circumnavigating the Black Sea.

As with The Voyager last month, this will be the first time I’ve been on the Minerva, so, as always, it will be interesting to see how differently they do things. One thing is for sure; with port stops in Greece, Turkey, Georgia, Russia and Bulgaria, I’m expecting temperatures to be a little warmer than Iceland, and the seas to be not quite so rough.

It’s a fly-cruise, so I’m limited on how much painting gear I can take with me. Information has been sent out to passengers, to encourage them to provide their own materials for my workshops, and the ship should be providing everything else… I have my fingers firmly crossed…

I’ll be keeping a daily record of the trip, so check in often, and feel free to add your own comments (but not those delightful people who insist on leaving me piles of spam comments… seriously guys – you need to get a life...).
