Saturday – Another Day at Sea
It’s been another day at sea, on our way to Madeira.
Despite there being a cool breeze, a few people have ventured out on deck to enjoy the fresh air and sporadic sunshine. This morning, after breakfast, I spent a precious half hour out there, watching the waves and seeing a small gaggle of dolphins, before heading back inside to do some work.
At 11am, I went into the Marco Polo Lounge to listen to Neil Bonner’s talk on the people he’s met as a celebrity journalist, before heading off to the Craft Room for this afternoon’s classes on ‘Puddles’.
I don’t know what it is about today; maybe it’s a bit of ‘we’re-getting-to-warmer-climes-madness’, or just a general uplift of spirits, but all three groups seem to have been very rowdy today, and quite a handful.
Not to worry; that’s three sessions completed. Tomorrow, we are due to arrive in Funchal, and Tracey will be returning to the fold, then it’s on to The Cape Verde Islands, and due West, towards Brazil…
Bring it on……..
