Atlantic Crossing Day Two
Today, I presented the second part of my two-part special workshops on painting trees. Having had them painting winter-bare trees yesterday, today was the turn of summer trees in full foliage.
After lunch, and a brief spell of cobweb-blowing on the top deck, I spent the afternoon painting another Mindelo boat scene (and tweaking yesterday’s painting having had it taped to the cabin wall all evening).
There seems to be some cooling issues in the cabin. By that, I mean that our cabin is like an oven, and the thermostat doesn’t appear to be doing anything. As far as I can tell, speaking to someone who also lives on our corridor, the issue isn’t confined to us… which is a sort of relief, I suppose.
