Tuesday – Le Miserable
Just miserable…..
The cough has persisted, and made me extremely grumpy all day. I managed to get through the classes, but after having had a bad night last night, where I hardly slept at all because of said cough, all I’ve wanted to do all day is curl up and sleep.
The bad day was made harder by the fact that it was a Formal Night. I’m not a huge fan of these at the best of times, mostly because of the need to wear a bow-tie – which I hate – feeling as under the weather as I did, made the whole evening quite difficult. I’m still struggling to rustle up any appetite, so I’m not good company at mealtimes either.
I made it as far as the quiz, then gave up the fight and went to bed. It’s a bit of a shame really, because the showteam were doing their version of ‘Joseph’, the musical, which I enjoyed thoroughly last year, and was looking forward to seeing again. Tracey stayed up to watch it, and reported that it was excellent… ah well….
Just need sleeeeeeeeeeeeeep………………
