At Sea Again

As soon as we left Warnemunde and hit the open sea, the rocking and rolling started all over again. It was a wobbly old night that continued on into the next day; our second full day at sea.

I ran the third of my classes, which was ‘Buildings Fast and Loose – St Petersburg’. The title more or less sums up the content of the workshop; buildings painted in a fast style, with a smattering of Linear Perspective thrown in for good measure. It’s a challenging subject, but one that I couldn’t not put into the itinerary, with us due to be visiting St. Petersburg in a couple of days time.

The seas began to calm down a little by the time the evening came around, but this was the second time the poor old comedian had a light turn-out for his show due to the weather.

Tomorrow, we are due to arrive in Tallinn, followed immediately by two days in St Petersburg, so at least that’s the last of the rough seas for a short while.
