The Eve of Another Adventure
Actually… this is the eve of two adventures, back-to-back!
Preparation for two weeks in the Canary Isles, followed immediately by 6 weeks to the Amazon has resembled a military operation; you simply wouldn’t believe how much clobber I’m having to take on board the Marco Polo with me this time around.
It’s all in a good cause, though, of course; lots of workshops to do, and passengers to please… fingers crossed all boxes will be ticked.
For anyone joining the blog for the first time, hoping to follow my adventures, I’d just like to say a big welcome, and to anyone out there who is returning to endure more ocean-bound excitement… well, welcome to you too! It’s pretty cold and murky in North Yorkshire at the moment; Tilbury, and the Canary Islands… here I come!
